MICRON
TIMETRAVELER
This is the second EP of the belgian based producer Micron. The Timetraveler EP is focussed towards downtempo electronica with strong ambient influences. The sound is dreamy with a strong emotional context, ideal for soundscapes or film music. The Song Micron has a downtempo anthemic feeling, with recognisable piano & string sounds. San Francisco has a breezy feeling to it, reminiscent of spring walks in the city, and some future bass influences. Iceland is an ode to the beautiful country, with it's wide open landscapes and raw surface. Timetraveler is a song with a more edgy sound and compelling mysterious soundscape (think 80's revival soundtrack).
The EP was recorded between september 2017 & january 2018 in the west of Belgium. The EP was mastered in Brussels by Pieter De Wagter (Soulwax, Lost Frequencies,...). The artwork is made near the Krafla power plant, in Iceland.
The EP is released 1st of March on every major digital platform, including iTunes, Apple Music, Spotify, Tidal, Deezer, Google Play, Amazon, ClaroMusica, Saavn.
